The Director of International Relations Affairs, Dr. Nizar I. Ali, has been awarded a certificate of HWPL PEACE EDUCATOR of 2023 for his outstanding contribution for spreading a culture of peace for the cessation of war and the realization of peace.

HWPL is a non-governmental organization established in 2013 and registered with the Seoul Metropolitan Government of the Republic of Korea. It is associated with the UN Department of Global Communications (DGC) and has special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). HWPL aims to achieve world peace through heavenly culture and restore the global community.

 

HWPL, in coordination with the University of Zakho, designed a peace education subject for university students, and this subject is officially being taught from 2021 in two departments of the College of Basic Education, namely the English Language Department and General Sciences Department, along with the Department of General Psychology of the College of Education.
